Typographic design can be expressive in ways other than the look or style of individual type designs. The way that we organize letters into words can also tell a story and visually convey the meaning of the word. This project asks you to demonstrate the meaning of words while avoiding the distractions of expressive or unusual typefaces. In limiting your solutions to a neutral typeface, the designer must seek out thoughtful, clever ways to demonstrate a word’s meaning.
